Scott L. Grossfeld, President and Chief Financial Officer
Scott Grossfeld is a co-founder and the President and Chief Financial Officer of Living Benefits Financial Group, LLC.
Mr. Grossfeld has been involved as a financial leader and strategic advisor in the settlement industry since 1998 utilizing over 20 years of successful accounting, finance and operational experience.
During his tenure, he has overseen the design and implementation of financial operations and procedures and the development and modeling of settlement business strategies and companies. In addition, Mr. Grossfeld worked with the top actuarial firms in the country to develop and implement the Company's proprietary Living StarSM insurance policy / portfolio pricing and servicing system. As a result, he has been intimately involved in the analysis, due diligence, and/or pricing of in excess of 10,000 life insurance policies for a total net death benefit of over $30 billion USD on behalf of multiple world wide investment banks, hedge funds and private equity funds.
In addition, Mr. Grossfeld has worked directly with Wall Street financial analysts to develop institutional funding mechanisms, research and resolve complex tax and structural issues, and deliver presentations to rating agencies.
Mr. Grossfeld received a B.S. in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and earned his CPA license during his tenure with the Minneapolis office of the Big 4 accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick.
A frequent speaker and panelist, Mr. Grossfeld has addressed numerous national and international conference audiences regarding the origination, management, pricing and servicing of Life Settlements.
